Goosebumps Stories part 11: Kuntilanak Reborn

“Come! We are almost there!” said Jane to the man is in painful. “Ah…. It’s hurting me!” groan the man. Suddenly in above the ravine, SAR team are start to searching and rescue, “Hey…! Have anyone still survive?!” yelling the SAR team. “We are here! Please help us!” yelling Jane to the SAR team. “Hey… look at there!” said one of the SAR team. After that, the SAR team helping to Jane and the man. “Please take his first because he is injured” said Jane. “Oh… no. you first because you are pregnant” said the man. “Oh… Gosh! You are bleeding!” said the one of SAR team and pointing to Jane’s leg. “Only both of you are safe?” ask one of the SAR team. Jane and the man are just looking the back and “Yes, only both of us” said Jane. Then both of them are carrying in a palanquin to the above of ravine. And enter to the ambulance and the ambulance takes them to hospital.

            Meanwhile, Jane felt so pain in her stomach. “Oh… My God!” said Jane. “Please hurry up! She wants to birth the baby!” said the nurse to the driver of ambulance. “Oh… no! It’s hurting me!” groan Jane. “Please calm down, Miss” said the nurse. “Oh My God! Please forgive me!” groan Jane. “Miss, did you have any relative are can reachable?” ask the nurse. “Yes…. My father” said Jane in dreadfully ill. “Okay…. I will check your phone” said the nurse. Then, the nurse grabbing the Jane’s bag and searching the Jane’s phone. After that, “Oh… here is your phone” said the nurse and start to searching the phone number of Jane’s father and make phone call. “Hello… This is Mr. Johan?” ask the nurse to Jane’s father. And Jane’s father answered, “Yes, I’m speaking. Who are you?” ask Mr. Johan. “I’m sorry, sir. Your daughter has accident. Please come to the Santa Maria Hospital” said the nurse. “Oh God! I will there and please give the phone to my daughter” said Mr. Johan. Then the nurse gives the phone to Jane, “Jane… I will there!” said Mr. Johan. “Dad…” said Jane in dreadfully ill. After that, the phone is ring off because the phone battery is dead. “Oh… no!” groan Jane while holding her stomach. Suddenly the nurse asking to Jane, “Miss, the man who is saved with you, he isn’t your husband?” ask the nurse to Jane. But Jane just gives expression of smile.

After Jane give the birth her daughter and also she just married with the man who is save with her was accident in ravine. They are living in the small house with her father, Jane’s father. And her husband, Antony is working as employer in the private enterprise.

            “Good morning, honey” said Antony while greeting to lovely his wife. “Good morning, do you want breakfast?” ask Jane. “No, I’m late right now. Just make lunch packet to me, dear” said Antony. “Yu should take a breakfast” said father in law (Mr. Johan). “I’m so sorry, dad. I’m afraid being late” said Antony again while he prepare his paper work and put into the briefcase. “Good bye, honey…. Good bye dad….!” Said Antony again while leave the house and go to the office.

            In the office, Antony just arrives to his office. And his officemate are chatting each other about his life especially about his wife. “Look at the lucky guy! He just married with the slut” said Andy. “Yeah, you are so lucky guy; you don’t making love with her. You just waiting her birth” said Alex. But Antony just keep silent because he knows their humiliation just want disturb him and to  make him to lose control. Suddenly, “If you not satisfy with your wife, I can give you satisfaction especially in bed, honey” seduce Jessica. And three of them are laughing and mocking to Antony. The forbearance sometimes have limit, “And about your baby definitely of mean birth like her mother” said Andy. “What do you say? I warning you to don’t say anything about my child” said Antony angrily.

            Meanwhile at home. “Jane, I must go to my orchard so please take care your daughter and home, alright?” said Mr. Johan. “Okay, Dad! And you to be careful on the road” said Jane. And then, her daddy goes to his farm. After that, she heard her daughter is crying in the baby room. “Oh… my lovely daughter is crying. Are you thirsty? Are you hungry? Say to me, honey” said Jane. And her baby still crying after she sings a song of lullaby to her daughter. Suddenly have black shadow is appearing for a flash in the window. “Who is there?” said Jane while carried her baby near to the window. And the outside of the window seen nothing who is passing through. Because of that, Jane felt something wrong and worried about was what happened three months ago. And she try to calm down in front of her baby, “Okay, my little sunshine. I will make your lunch, I think you are hungry?” said Jane. While, Jane preparing the lunch of her daughter. Unwittingly, door of baby room close suddenly and be locked itself, after that, Jane’s daughter is crying again and getting louder. “What happened?!” said Jane and run into the baby room. “Damn it! It locks” said Jane. “Calm down, honey. I will get you, my dear” said Jane. And Jane’s daughter crying getting louder and louder and suddenly hearing the hoarse voice from the baby room, “Give me back my child” said the stranger voice from inside the baby room. “Oh… No! She is my daughter” yelling Jane while grabbing the chair and she wants to hit to door handle. Suddenly the door is open itself with the wind is come out from the baby room. And with frightened out of with just happened, Jane holding her daughter, “Are you honey?” said Jane to her daughter.

            After that, she makes a phone call to her husband. She waiting the response of her husband takes time to long, suddenly the female hoarse voice is response, and “She is mine!” said the stranger voice. “No! She is my daughter!” said Jane while crying. Suddenly her husband is answered, “What happened, honey?” ask Antony. “She is back!” said Jane to her husband. With saucer eyed, Antony grabbing the key’s car and leaving his desk to the parking car. “Where are you going? Our meeting will be start in couple minutes” said Mr. Dean who is the CEO of private enterprise in Antony works. “I’m sorry, sir. I must go home right now. I have problem in my house” said Antony and run rashly. “But…!” said Mr. Dean without getting excuses from Antony.

            In the parking area. Antony through to his car and start the engine. But the engine doesn’t works properly. “What’s wrong with you? I must go now…” said Antony. Suddenly have black shadow appearing in the back when Antony seen in the rear mirror. But when he looks behind, there in nothing in back but when he turn to front of his body, suddenly the entity is appearing in the front of his eyes. “She is my child!” said the entity and then the entity is disappearing. “Oh… Come on!” said Antony while he try again to start the engine and then the engine is start and Antony go to his home rashly.

            In the house, Jane try to make a phone to her father, “Come on please picked up the phone?!” said Jane. Suddenly she heard the car engine was turn off. Seemingly her husband is come back, “What happened?” ask Antony. “She is back” said Jane. “Where is your father?” ask Antony. “I don’t know” crying Jane while she try to dial the number of her father.

            Meanwhile in the orchard. Mr. Johan is still busy in his fruits and seed down. Suddenly, he get the phone call from his daughter and he is answered, “Hello, Jane. What’s wrong?” ask Mr. Johan. But Jane’s voice doesn’t clear. “Hello… hello… Jane?!” ask Mr. Johan again. “Jean… Hello?!” ask Mr. Johan. Suddenly, “Your granddaughter is mine!” said the hoarse voice from phone. “Oh… Damn it! Jane will come back!” said Mr. Johan while ring off the phone.

            Back the house, Jane and her husband are terrifying because suddenly the house is tremble. The mirror suddenly cracked and broken. And also their wedding photo suddenly cracked and broken into the piece. The lamps suddenly falling down. “We must go from here!” said Antony to Jane while carried her baby and at same time the baby is crying. Jane tries to cover up her baby from the falling down thing with her hand and Antony try to find way to escape from the terror. Suddenly, gas stove is open and burning the kitchen. “Oh My God!” said Jane while she try to escape with kitchen.

            Back to orchard, suddenly the wind is blowing impetuous. “Oh… God!” said Mr. Johan. Suddenly the tree is falling down when Mr. Johan is running underneath the tree and makes Mr. Johan is struck down and die. And the last Mr. Johan said before he pass away, “Jane safe your daughter”. And back to the house, suddenly the tremble was stopped and gas stove was turn off. After the trembling is gone leaving the destruction. And again Jane try to make a phone call to her father but still doesn’t response. But she get phone call from the police and the call makes she frightened and crying about her father is pass away in accident.

Jane and Antony with they are daughter moving to a new house to avoid the terror of the Kuntilanak. But they don’t know because the demon still chasing them and the demon still give uncomfortable moment in their life. A new house is they living in the suburban. They are living with nice neighborhood. Antony also must to quit his job from the private enterprise and works in the glass-mill as employer. In a new work place, he doesn’t get any mocking and humiliation from his work mate. And Jane must to accept about her lost with sincere, and she thought life must go one, and we are still life must move on and accept what we have because we are life and living, our breath, our hearing, our speaking, our hand and leg are loan from the GOD.

            In the glass-mill, Antony get phone call from his wife, “Hi, honey?! What’s up?” ask Antony. “Hey, are you get overtime work tonight?” ask Jane. “Oh…no, I will come back early, tonight” said Antony. “Oh… good, because I already cooking your favorite food” said Jane. “Okay, I will come back for that” said Antony while he cleaning and preparing to leave from his work place.

            In the middle way to his house, he drops by to the Toy shop because he remembers to his lovely child. “Hmmm… which one I must to choose?” said Antony. “Excuse me, sir. Your child is boy or girl?” ask shopkeeper. “I searching the toy to my daughter” said Antony. “Oh… for girl, over there. There are so many variety toys to your daughter, sir” said shopkeeper. While, Antony confuse to buy a toy for his daughter, suddenly a car from nowhere hard hitting to Antony’s car and cause of that Antony’s car also hitting to the Toy shop and almost hitting to the shopkeeper. At the time, shopkeeper is in the counter. “Oh… No!” screaming the shopkeeper when the car is hitting to her body cause of that she got minor injured in her body. And then, Antony is darted off and his body is struck down with cupboard but his condition is fined just minor injured in his head. And seemingly the driver who is hitting Antony’s car in under drugs because she get arrested by police to take his explanation.

            In the house, Jane is preparing to their diner but her husband still not comes back. “Where are you?” said Jane. While she wants to grab the phone, she heard the front door is open. Seemingly, her husband is come back with have bandage in his head. “What happened to you?” ask Jane. “Where you car?” ask Jane again while she seen the police are drops by her husband with police’s car. “Someone is hitting my car in the Toy shop” said Antony while show the toy is he buying it to Jane. “Oh… God, are you Okay?” said Jane. “I’m fine, where is our daughter?” said Antony. “She is sleeping” said Jane. “Honey, it’s been almost forth months, we still give the name to our daughter” said Jane while put the dish to dining table. “Actually, I buy this doll as present” said Antony while he show the doll to his wife. “Oh my god, it’s Kayla?” ask Jane. “Yeah, our daughter named Kayla” said Antony. “It’s so cute, thanks honey” said Jane.

            After that, Antony goes the Kayla’s room. “Hey, Kayla, are you still sleeping?” ask Antony. “This is your doll, honey” said Antony while he put the doll beside Kayla. “She adorable, isn’t she?” said Jane. And Antony gives the smile to Jane. “I must go to sleep right now. I’m still felt hurt” said Antony. “After you, dear” said Jane while she goes to the kitchen want to washing the plates. Suddenly the wind blowing the window cause of the window is opens itself. And then, she is locking the window. Suddenly some entity appearing behind her back and Jane felt the entity in her back, ploddingly she turn back her body but nobody in her back. After that, she goes to master bedroom during that she is passing through front of Kayla’s room. At the time in the Kayla’s room, the door doesn’t close properly. Suddenly, she seen woman figure is seen her daughter and then Jane run to Kayla’s room, the entity is disappear. With felt the puzzlement, she close the Kayla’s room.

            In the master bedroom, Jane just wants to prepare her sleep. Several minutes Jane sleeping and suddenly, she wake up and she staring the window has open itself and Antony haven’t beside her and suddenly the entity try to entering the Jane’s bedroom. Cause of that,  she try to run into the door but the door suddenly is locking and the entity getting close to her and suddenly the door is open and she run out from the room. At the same time, she wake up and seemingly it’s just nightmare but suddenly she heard her daughter is crying. “Oh… I get her” said Antony. “No, you just tired, let me seen her” said Jane to Antony. After that, Jane goes to Kayla’s room. Suddenly, she seen the entity again, and now the entity carryings Kayla, “She is my daughter” said the entity. “No, she is my daughter” screaming Jane and grabbing Kayla from the entity’s hand but the entity is disappear with her daughter. “Oh… No!!! Tony!!!!” screaming Jane. “What’s wrong, honey?” ask Antony. “Our daughter is missing” said Jane. “What?!” said Antony is frightened out of with happened. “She is carrying away our daughter” said Jane. Then, Antony tries to searching his daughter around the house but still not find. Suddenly the entity is standing in the front of the house, “Ha… ha…. Ha…. Ha…” shrieking the entity. “Give me back my daughter” said Jane. “You will never get your daughter anymore because this is my daughter” said the entity again. “Give me back my daughter” said Antony angrily while he holding the crowbar and chasing to the entity. But he can’t because he is darted off to the ground and the crowbar is outsoar and then stabbed into Antony’s head after the entity is push away when Antony wants to stabbed her. “Oh… no!” crying Jane. “How could you do this to me?!” yelling Jane. “I just want my child back” said the entity. “But she is not your child; your child is passing away a long time ago” said Jane. “No! She is mine!” said the entity. “Please, I’m begging you. Please, give me back my daughter” begging Jane. “No… this is my baby” said the entity while she turns back. Meanwhile, Jane tries to pull out the crowbar from Antony’s head. “I’m sorry, honey. I will be even with your death” said Jane while pull out the crowbar and then, “She is mine!!!” screaming Jane while chasing and embedding the crowbar into the Kuntilanak’s head and “Ah……!!!!” screaming the entity and the same time the entity is spinning head to the front of Jane, there are have the black smoke and absorb into the Jane’s body. Suddenly, the entity is disappearing.

Kayla has been growing up and has studied in the kindergarten. Every morning, she always accompany by her mom when go to school. “Mommy, why your hand always cold?“ ask Kayla. “Are you sick?” ask Kayla again. “And your face so pale?” ask Kayla again. And then, her mom just give the smile but inside her mom body have Jane’s soul, “Kayla, your mom is here! She is not your mother” screaming Jane from the inside but Kayla doesn’t hearing it. Actually, when the black smoke is come out from the entity body, it’s happened when Jane’s soul is absorbed with the demon’s soul so the demon just moves into the Jane’s body.
